A little bit about me…

I was a decorated 2 sports athlete with eyes set on playing pro football or at least running track for the United States in the Olympics. Those dreams came crashing down after blowing out my neck in a football game – only to have 2 surgeries that left me sidelined for a complete year of rehab & recovery. During that year my rehab consisted of yoga, swimming and walking… No running, no weight-training of any sort and definitely no overhead lifting of any kind…

Back to school I went and studied everything there was about sports rehab, physical therapy and functional body movement for athletes.

Since then, I’ve completed 30 triathlons (A full Ironman, 2 half ironman’s), 10 Spartan races, a dozen half marathons, 3 full marathons and countless century road bike rides including Route 66. That’s right, I biked 2,500 miles in 25 days. One hundred miles a day for 25 days across Route 66 for charity.

I couldn’t have done any of it unless I knew how to train with the expectation of incurring injuries & the methods for post recovery to make sure I didn’t continue injure myself along the way. If I did, I knew exactly how to rehab each and every injury successfully without surgery. Read that last sentence again, slowly & let it sink in.

In turn, I want to share with you what I’ve learned and keep you in “The Game” of life & out the operating-room.
